Estonia is in the top three leaders of EU for the use of payment cards

In the first quarter of 2015, Estonian residents spent more than 1 million euro per day. In general, for the first quarter, Estonians spent around 371 million euro using their plastic cards. The number of transactions increased by 5% compared to the same period of last year.

Citizens of Estonia are actively moving to cashless payments. More than 60% of all payments in the first three months of 2015 were made using plastic cards.
