Volume of mobile trading operations in China totaled $12 billion in the first quarter of 2014

In the first quarter of 2014 the total volume of mobile commerce transactions in China amounted to 78.02 billion yuan ($12.53 billion), which is 13% more than in the previous quarter and 207% more than in the first quarter of 2013. In the Chinese market of mobile trade leads Taobao, the largest online marketplace, with a market share of 78% (by revenue), followed by JD with the index only 7.2%.
