In the UK mobile online shopping has doubled

According to new research by IMRG and Capgemini, during the last year the share of online purchases made via smartphones and tablets has doubled and reached 23% of all online sales.

According to a new study, in the second quarter of 2012 the share of online purchases made from smartphones and tablets accounted for 11.6%, but by the second quarter of 2013 this figure had doubled and amounted to 23.2%. In addition, during the same period, the percentage of visits to sites of online retailers via mobile devices increased from 21.1% to 34%.
